Sam Zurzolo lives in Charleswood with his wife Jill and three young children. Their children attend school in Pembina Trails.
Sam is an experienced teacher specializing in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, and Theater. He has taught multiple grade levels, with over a decade of experience under his belt. He was recruited to teach English in the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education in Incheon, South Korea. Sam has spent the last decade teaching in Winnipeg in various schools. He has been a member of various student success initiatives looking at issues related to student attendance, knowledge retention, student success, and literacy. Currently, he teaches Math, Computer Science and Physics at Elmwood High School.
Sam has been voted in as an executive member of the Winnipeg Teachers’ Association (WTA) for the last four years. In his time there, he chaired the WTA Teacher Welfare committee and is currently a member of the Negotiations Committee table team.
Sam has a Diploma of Computer Engineering Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Theater, and a Bachelor of Education.
